healthcare workers lining up

You’re missing out on potential applicants!

I wanted to share a little-known secret about attracting more applicants in the health care industry.

It’s clear to everyone that there is a talent shortage out there. There are many guesses as to why this may be the case, however, some are valid while others are completely made up.

Regardless, most of them appear to be problems that aren’t going to be fixable by the average health care business owner. For instance, there isn’t anything you can do about national unemployment or talent shortage rates.

Because of this, it has caused many business owners to settle for whatever they can find.

However, it’s not your job to fix these national problems. It’s your job to take care of your business. I want to help you do that.

I’m here to tell you that you don’t need to settle, instead, you might need to make changes to your hiring process.

Because here’s the secret…

Most employers don’t know that there is a huge percentage of potential applicants, hidden within their hiring process, that don’t make it to their inbox.

This is because most employers don’t have the visibility to see what’s going on within the hiring process, unlike us at ApplicantPro, who have complete access to all the information and data throughout the application process.

We’ve done a data study in conjunction with indeed to find out how many people are going through the entire application process from start to finish.

Our study tracked applicants from the point they ran the search for a health care job in a specific town, through every step of the process up to the completion of applications in employers’ inboxes.

We analyzed the percentage of people who ran a health care job search and saw the job ad versus the percentage of people that finished the application.

What we found was that on average, LESS THAN 1% OF PEOPLE WHO RAN A JOB SEARCH FOR A SPECIFIC HEALTH CARE JOB AND SAW A GIVEN JOB IN THE LIST OF OPENINGS, ACTUALLY FINISHED THE PROCESS OF APPLYING.

This means there is a whole chunk of applicants that are not being seen by a given employer, 99% of them!

What this means is that if you are struggling to get applicants there is hope and potential. You just need to find a way to get an extra 1% of people to apply for your openings. This 1% alone would double your current applicant pool.

How do you attract more applicants to your jobs?

We have found that there are 3 ways to solve this problem…

  1. Reduce the friction in your application process.

  2. Rewrite your job ad to make it more compelling to applicants.

  3. Add flair to your job ad so that it stands out.

These few steps alone can increase the number of applicants you see for your jobs and the number of completed applications you see in your inbox.

If you’d like help putting these steps into place to start getting solid applicants, let me know… I’d be happy to help.
